Slatted pool covers
Slatted pool covers perform several functions:
- They are weight-sustainable and ensure safety.
- Substantially hinder water cooling which is important for both indoor and outdor pools, taking into consideration the difference between the day and night temperatures in Latvia.
- Protect against formation of condensate in pool room.
- Protect against debris falling into pool.
Slatted pool cover is comparatively expensive but the most convenient design solution.
It is a stylish and efficient way to cover the swimming pool after use and makes an integral part of the whole design concept.
A pool cover can be installed in many ways:
- Under water on the pool floor (with or without decorative panel):
- Under water in a pit (with or without decorative pit lid):
- Under water in a cave (with or without decorative panel):
- Above ground on one of the pool sides (with or without decorative panel):
These are the most popular but not the only possible solutions in case the pool form is more complicated.
